What is VO2 Max?
During exercise, your body uses oxygen to create the energy needed to power your activity. VO2 Max is a measure of how much oxygen your body can absorb and use during exercise.
VO2 Max is an objective measure of your aerobic fitness. Improving your VO2 Max will generally contribute to improved athletic performance.
For experienced athletes, this can give you insight on the effectiveness and progress of training.
New runners who get tested will have a baseline measure of their fitness level and can tailor training to improve this.
What To Expect?
At Recover Health and Wellness, we use research supported testing devices and protocols that provide the most accurate and detailed results.
Once your test is complete, your test will be reviewed and you will be provided with an explanation of all data along with training strategies on how to improve your aerobic fitness.
